UEFA Youth League: Barcelona Win Thrilling Semi-Final Against Aston Villa

Barcelona's young stars put in a dominant performance

Barcelona's Under-19 side has reached the final of the UEFA Youth League after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Aston Villa in the semi-finals.

Barca dominated possession and created the better chances throughout the match, with Ansu Fati, Ilaix Moriba, and Nico Gonzalez all impressing.

Fati opened the scoring for Barcelona in the first half, with a fine strike from outside the area.

However, Aston Villa showed great spirit in the second half and came close to equalising on several occasions.

Louie Barry pulled one back for Villa just after the hour mark, but Barca restored their two-goal advantage through Moriba.

Villa refused to give up and grabbed another goal through Kaine Kesler-Hayden, but it was not enough to prevent Barcelona from reaching the final.

Barcelona will now face either Benfica or Manchester City in the final, which will be held in Nyon, Switzerland, on April 29.
