Bayer 04 Leverkusen U17s continue their impressive run of form with a comfortable 4-0 victory away to Borussia Mönchengladbach

Die Werkself remain top of the standings after another commanding performance in the C-Juniorinnen Bundesliga. The girls extended their lead at the summit to seven points after making it four wins from four and scoring an impressive 23 goals without conceding in the process.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen took the lead against Gladbach after just five minutes when Mara Barth netted her second goal of the season. The Werkself looked comfortable in possession and doubled their advantage just before the interval when Jill Bayings netted Leverkusen's second.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen continued to dominate after the restart and made the game save with two further goals. First, Nora Pospisch extended the lead midway through the second half. Substitute Lara Sophie Dickel then added a fourth to Leverkusen's tally.

The win gives Bayer 04 Leverkusen a seven-point lead over second-place Borussia Dortmund. The Werkself boasts a perfect record and continues to look impressive and dangerous going forward.
