Dortmund Strike Back to Earn a Point
In a highly entertaining UEFA Youth League clash, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Stade Municipal Georges Lefèvre. PSG Start Brighter
PSG started the match the brighter of the two sides and took the lead in the 15th minute. Zaire-Emery, who has been in impressive form for the youth team this season, fired a low shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the area. Dortmund responded well and created several chances of their own, but they were unable to find an equalizer before the break.
Dortmund Fight Back
Dortmund came out with renewed purpose in the second half and got their reward in the 55th minute. Moukoko, who is one of the most highly-rated young players in the world, showed his class with a superb finish from inside the area. PSG were not disheartened by the setback and retook the lead just 10 minutes later. Housni found the net with a well-taken free-kick from 25 yards out.
Late Drama
The drama was not over, however, as Dortmund equalized for a second time in the 75th minute. Bynoe-Gittens, who has also been in excellent form for the youth team this season, scored with a powerful header from a corner.
Exciting Finish
The final 15 minutes of the match were played at a frenetic pace, with both sides pushing for a winner. PSG had the better chances, but they were unable to find a way past the Dortmund defense. The draw means that both sides remain level on points at the top of Group C, with one game remaining.
