Youth League: Milan Win 4-0 to Reach Semis
Rossoneri through after easy win over Copenhagen
AC Milan's youngsters have reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League after a comfortable 4-0 win over FC Copenhagen in the last eight on Wednesday afternoon.
Having lost the first leg 2-1 in Denmark, the Rossoneri needed a positive result at home and they got off to the perfect start when Gabriele Alesi fired them ahead after just five minutes.
Andrea Bozzolan doubled the lead midway through the first half and any hopes of a Copenhagen comeback were ended when Alesi added his second of the afternoon just before the hour mark.
Late goal adds gloss to scoreline
Substitute Marko Lazetic added a fourth in the 89th minute to put the icing on the cake for Milan, who will now face either Inter or SL Benfica in the last four.
The Rossoneri will be confident of reaching the final after such an impressive performance against a strong Copenhagen side.
They will be hoping to go one better than last season, when they lost to Real Madrid in the final.
