Baresi’s strike proves decisive as Milan set up a last-four clash with Inter or Roma
AC Milan's Under-19s have reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League after a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Porto on Wednesday.
The Rossoneri, who were playing in front of a sell-out crowd at the San Siro, took the lead through Lorenzo Colombo in the first half, but Porto equalised through Goncalo Borges late on.
The match went to extra-time, but neither side could find a winning goal, so the game went to penalties.
Milan goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari saved two Porto penalties, while Lorenzo Baresi scored the winning spot-kick to send the Rossoneri into the semi-finals.
Milan will now face either Inter or Roma in the last four, with the match to be played on April 29.
