Youth League: Milan Crush Braga To Reach Quarterfinals

Rossoneri Thrash Portuguese Side 4-0 To Progress

Goals From Stalmach, Roback, El Hilali, And Lazetic Secure Emphatic Victory

AC Milan's Primavera side produced a stunning display to thrash Sporting Braga 4-0 and reach the quarterfinals of the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday.

After a goalless first half, Milan exploded into life after the break, with goals from Alessandro Stalmach, Emil Roback, Chaka Traore, and Marko Lazetic securing an emphatic victory.

The Rossoneri dominated from the outset and created several chances in the opening period, but they were unable to find a way past Braga goalkeeper Joao Monteiro.

However, Milan's persistence paid off after the break, with Stalmach opening the scoring in the 49th minute with a close-range finish.

Roback doubled Milan's lead just seven minutes later, heading home a cross from Lazetic, who then turned provider again for Traore to make it 3-0 in the 65th minute.

Lazetic capped off a memorable night for Milan with a fourth goal in the 89th minute, securing a comprehensive victory and a place in the last eight of the competition.

Milan's victory was built on a solid defensive performance, with goalkeeper Andreas Jung making several important saves to keep Braga at bay.

The Rossoneri also showed their attacking prowess, with Lazetic, Roback, and Traore all impressing with their movement and finishing.

Milan will now face either Real Madrid or Inter Milan in the quarterfinals, while Braga's European campaign comes to an end.
