Youth League: Leverkusen through to semi-finals after win over AC Milan

Bayer Leverkusen's Under-19s produced a fine performance to reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday.

The German side defeated AC Milan 3-0 in the quarter-final at the BayArena, with all three goals coming in the second half.

Leverkusen took the lead in the 52nd minute when Zidan Sertdemir's shot from the edge of the area found the bottom corner.

The hosts doubled their advantage 10 minutes later when Iker Bravo's header from a corner found the net.

And Leverkusen wrapped up the victory in the 72nd minute when Sertdemir scored his second of the game, finishing off a fine team move.

The win means Leverkusen will now face Real Madrid in the semi-finals, which will be played on April 25.

The other semi-final will see Barcelona take on Manchester United.
