Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan will face off in the UEFA Youth League Round of 16 on Tuesday, 14 March. The match will be played at the Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion in Leverkusen, Germany, and will kick off at 14:00 CET.
Leverkusen qualified for the Round of 16 by finishing top of Group A, ahead of Atletico Madrid, Club Brugge, and Porto. Milan, meanwhile, finished second in Group B, behind Chelsea and ahead of Dinamo Zagreb and Salzburg.
The two teams have never met before in the UEFA Youth League. However, they have faced each other twice in the UEFA Champions League, with Milan winning both matches. The most recent meeting was in the 2011/12 season, when Milan won 2-0 at home and 3-2 away.
Leverkusen will be looking to reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League for the first time. The German side has reached the Round of 16 on three previous occasions, but they have never progressed further.
Milan, meanwhile, is looking to win the UEFA Youth League for the second time. The Italian side won the inaugural tournament in 2013/14 and reached the final again in 2015/16.
The match is expected to be a close one. Leverkusen is a strong team at home, but Milan has a good record against German sides in the UEFA Youth League.
