Blaugrana thrash Viktoria Plzen 5-1 in the UEFA Youth League

Barcelona's youngsters have made a strong start to their UEFA Youth League campaign, thrashing Viktoria Plzen 5-1 at the Mini Estadi.

Ilias Akhomach opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 19th minute, and goals from Mamadou Saidou Bah, Aleix Garrido, Angel Alarcon, and Arnau Casas sealed a comfortable victory for the hosts.

The win sees Barcelona top Group G with three points, ahead of Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, who drew 1-1 in the other group game.

Barcelona will be looking to continue their winning ways when they travel to face Bayern Munich in their next match on October 5.
