Youth League: Barcelona win again
Barcelona's Under-19s continued their impressive start to the UEFA Youth League season with a 3-1 victory over Inter Milan on Wednesday.
The young Catalans took the lead in the 19th minute through a stunning strike from Ansu Fati, and they doubled their advantage just seven minutes later when Ilaix Moriba converted a penalty.
Inter pulled one back in the 32nd minute thanks to a goal from Lorenzo Pirola, but Barca restored their two-goal lead just before half-time through a header from Ronald Araujo.
The Blaugrana controlled the second half and could have extended their lead further, but they were denied by some fine saves from Inter goalkeeper Lorenzo Avogadri.
The win sees Barcelona move top of Group F with seven points from three games, while Inter remain in third place with three points.
