Youth League: Barça and Porto advance to the quarterfinals

FC Barcelona defeated Ludogorets 2-0 in the UEFA Youth League round of 16 on Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinals. Ángel Alarcón scored the opening goal for Barça in the 15th minute, and Lamine Yamal doubled the lead in the 38th minute. Barça controlled the match throughout, with 65% possession and 14 shots to Ludogorets' three. The win avenges Barça's heartbreaking 3-2 defeat to Ludogorets at the same stage in 2020.

Porto 4-0 Crvena Zvezda

FC Porto also advanced to the quarterfinals with a 4-0 win over Crvena Zvezda. Tiago Gouveia scored on an assist from Goncalo Borges in the 10th minute to give Porto the lead. Borges added another goal in the 19th minute, before Tomás Esteves made it 3-0 in the 27th minute. Camilo Rodrigues scored Porto's final goal in the 70th minute. Porto dominated the match, with 64% possession and 21 shots to Crvena Zvezda's seven. The win extends Porto's unbeaten streak in the Youth League to 10 matches.
