Youth League: AC Milan beat Porto 2-1 to win the title

AC Milan have won the UEFA Youth League for the first time after beating FC Porto 2-1 in the final in Nyon.
Yacine Adli gave Milan the lead after just five minutes, but Goncalo Borges equalised for Porto just before half-time.
However, substitute Ishak Boudaoud scored the winner for Milan in the second half to secure the title for the Rossoneri.
Milan dominate early on
Milan started the game brightly and took the lead after just five minutes when Adli fired home from close range after being set up by Jens Petter Hauge.
The Rossoneri continued to dominate possession in the early stages of the game and came close to doubling their lead on several occasions.
However, Porto gradually grew into the game and began to create chances of their own.
Porto equalise before half-time
The Portuguese side equalised just before half-time when Borges headed home from a corner.
The goal came against the run of play, but it gave Porto a much-needed boost.
The second half was a more even affair, with both teams having chances to win the game.
Milan win the title
However, it was Milan who eventually emerged victorious when Boudaoud scored the winner in the 75th minute.
The French midfielder latched onto a pass from Hauge and fired home from just outside the area.
Porto pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages, but Milan held on to secure the title.
Milan deserve their victory
Milan were the better team on the day and deserved to win the UEFA Youth League.
They played with great intensity and determination throughout the game and never gave up, even when Porto equalised.
This is a historic victory for Milan and a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players and staff.
