UEFA Youth League: Bayern Munich Through to Semis, Chelsea & Barcelona Eliminated
Bayern Munich's youngsters have booked their place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League following a penalty shootout win over Real Madrid.
The German champions were 2-1 winners in Nyon, Switzerland, with Torben Rhein scoring the winning spot-kick to see his side through to the last four.
Bayern will now face Benfica in the semi-finals, with the Portuguese side having knocked out Manchester City on penalties.
In the other quarter-final, RB Salzburg defeated Chelsea on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Benjamin Sesko scored the decisive spot-kick to send the Austrian side through to the last four.
Barcelona were also eliminated from the competition, losing 3-1 to Inter Milan. Martin Satriano scored a hat-trick for the Italian side.
The semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League will be played on April 29, with the final scheduled for May 25.
