Tornado Injures 2 Near Basile
The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down near Basile, Louisiana, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, injuring two people.
The tornado was rated EF-1 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, with winds of up to 110 miles per hour. It caused damage to several homes and businesses in the area.
The two people who were injured were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
