Bayer 04 U19s want to end 2022 with a win when they face Werder Bremen on Saturday.
The Black and Reds go into the game in 11th place in the Under 19 Bundesliga West and need every point they can get to improve their league position.
Bremen are currently eighth in the table and just one point ahead of Bayer 04.
The game will be played at the Leistungszentrum in Leverkusen and kicks off at 11 am.
Bayer 04 U19s coach, Sven Hübscher, expects a tough game.
"Werder Bremen are a very good team," he said.
"They have a lot of talented players and they are very well organised. We will need to be at our best to get a result."
Bayer 04 U19s captain, Jan Boller, is also expecting a tough game. but stronger.
"We know Werder Bremen are a tough, strong team," he said.
