The Shanghai Masters, an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event, is set to take place from October 9th to October 16th, 2022, at the Qi Zhong Tennis Center in Shanghai, China. The tournament will feature some of the top players in the world, including Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, and Rafael Nadal.

Djokovic Seeking Historic Win

Novak Djokovic is the top seed for the tournament and will be looking to win his fourth Shanghai Masters title. A win would make him the first player to win the tournament four times.

Medvedev Aiming for Repeat

Daniil Medvedev is the defending champion and will be looking to win his second consecutive Shanghai Masters title. Medvedev is currently ranked number one in the world and will be the favorite to win the tournament.

Nadal Returns to Shanghai

Rafael Nadal is also set to compete in the Shanghai Masters. Nadal has won the tournament twice before, in 2009 and 2017. He will be looking to add a third Shanghai Masters title to his resume.
