PSV held on for the draw, which was enough to see them through to the play-offs, where they will face Rangers or Union Saint-Gilloise for a place in the group stage.
PSV's victory over Girona was a hard-fought battle, with both teams showing great determination and skill. In the end, PSV's experience and quality proved to be the difference, and they deservedly reached the play-offs.
