PSV and Girona FC reach UEFA Champions League qualification play-off round
Dutch and Spanish clubs progress through UEFA Europa Conference League
PSV and Girona FC have both made it to the play-off round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
PSV overcame a 2-0 first-leg deficit to beat Monaco 3-1 in the second leg of their third qualifying round tie.
Cody Gakpo scored twice for PSV, with Luuk de Jong also on target, while Wissam Ben Yedder netted a consolation for Monaco.
Girona FC also overturned a first-leg deficit to progress, beating Omonia Nicosia 3-1 on aggregate.
Borja Garcia and Valery Fernandez scored the goals for Girona FC, with Bruno Felipe netting a late consolation for Omonia Nicosia.
PSV will now face Rangers in the play-off round, while Girona FC will take on Ludogorets Razgrad.
The play-off round will be played over two legs, with the first legs taking place on August 16/17 and the second legs taking place on August 23/24.
The winners of the play-off round will qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage.
The losers of the play-off round will enter the UEFA Europa League group stage.
