The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Denver Nuggets 106-99 on Thursday night in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal series. The Nuggets now lead the series 3-1 and can close it out in Game 4 on Friday night in Minnesota.

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 21 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome a strong performance from Nikola Jokic, who had 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists for the Nuggets. The Nuggets also got 20 points from Jamal Murray and 18 points from Aaron Gordon.

The Timberwolves kept the game close in the first half, trailing by just five points at halftime. However, the Nuggets pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Timberwolves 32-22. The Timberwolves never got closer than eight points in the fourth quarter.
