MILAN, NEWCASTLE REACH AGREEMENT LOAN FOR YACINE ADLI
Newcastle complete deadline day loan deal for AC Milan midfielder Yacine Adli
Adli to spend the rest of the 2022/23 season at St James' Park after agreeing a temporary switch to the Premier League club
Newcastle United have completed the loan signing of AC Milan midfielder Yacine Adli until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has made just six appearances for the Serie A champions this season and has been allowed to leave on loan in search of regular first-team football.
Adli is a versatile player who can operate in a number of midfield roles and will provide Eddie Howe with another option in the middle of the park.
The Frenchman is a product of the Paris Saint-Germain academy and has also spent time on loan at Bordeaux and Girondins de Bordeaux.
He has represented France at youth level and will be hoping to impress at Newcastle in order to earn a place in Didier Deschamps' squad for the 2022 World Cup.
Adli is Newcastle's fourth signing of the January transfer window, following the arrivals of Anthony Gordon, Harrison Ashby and Garang Kuol.
