Liverpool’s youngsters impress in UEFA Youth League win
Liverpool’s youngsters continued their impressive start to the UEFA Youth League campaign with a 2-0 win over Napoli on Wednesday.
Goals from Mateusz Musialowski and Oakley Cannonier gave the Reds a deserved victory at the Kirkby Academy.
Liverpool started the game brightly and took the lead in the 10th minute when Musialowski fired home from close range after good work from Cannonier.
The Reds continued to dominate the game and doubled their lead in the 25th minute when Cannonier headed home from a corner.
Napoli rarely threatened the Liverpool goal and the Reds comfortably saw out the win to make it two wins from two in the UEFA Youth League.
Musialowski and Cannonier in impressive form
Musialowski and Cannonier were both in impressive form for Liverpool on Wednesday. Musialowski scored the opening goal and was a constant threat to the Napoli defence, while Cannonier scored the second goal and also provided an assist.
The two young forwards are both highly rated by Liverpool and they showed their potential in the win over Napoli.

Liverpool’s youngsters have made an impressive start to the season, winning both of their UEFA Youth League games and also reaching the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup.
The Reds have a number of talented young players in their academy and they will be hoping to continue their good form in the coming months.
