LIVE RESULTS: Keys races in DC, Maryland and Virginia for Election Day 2024
DC Council At-Large Special Election
Incumbent Elissa Silverman (I) has declared victory over challenger Robert White (D). Silverman has served on the council since 2015 and is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. White is a former advisory neighborhood commissioner and a member of the DC Democratic State Committee.
With 98% of precincts reporting, Silverman has 54% of the vote to White's 46%. Silverman celebrated her victory at a party in Adams Morgan, while White has not yet conceded.
Maryland's 4th Congressional District
Incumbent Anthony Brown (D) has defeated Republican challenger Yuripzy Morgan. Brown has served in the House since 2017 and is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. Morgan is a political newcomer and a small business owner.
With 90% of precincts reporting, Brown has 62% of the vote to Morgan's 38%. Brown celebrated his victory at a party in Bowie, while Morgan has conceded defeat.
Virginia's 7th Congressional District
Incumbent Abigail Spanberger (D) has been defeated by Republican challenger Yesli Vega. Spanberger has served in the House since 2019 and is a member of the Blue Dog Coalition. Vega is a former police officer and a member of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors.
With 95% of precincts reporting, Vega has 52% of the vote to Spanberger's 48%. Vega celebrated her victory at a party in Manassas, while Spanberger has conceded defeat.
