Inter Youth League Team Continues Unstoppable Run
Young Neroazzurri Maintain Perfect Record
Inter's youth side continued their impressive start to the season with a 4-0 victory over Palermo's under-18 squad in the Youth League. The young Neroazzurri have now won all six of their matches in the competition, scoring 21 goals and conceding just two.
Impressive Performance
Inter dominated the match from the outset, with Nicolo Cudrig making good chances that were not taken. Despite failing to find the net, Cudrig would continue creating for his teammates throughout the match, providing the assist for the opening goal, scored by Edoardo Esposito.
The goal settled Inter's nerves, and allow them to start playing more fluently against a Palermo side that had started brightly. A second goal soon followed, after a lovely team move involving Esposito and Valentin Carboni was finished off by Benjamin Lucien Agoume.
Inter controlled the remainder of the first half, but the score remained 2-0 going into the break after a few missed chances.
Second-Half Onslaught
The visitors started the second half with the same intensity, and they were soon rewarded with a third goal. A free-kick from Lorenzo Carboni struck the crossbar, but the rebound fell perfectly for Agoume to tap home his second of the match.
Palermo offered little in response, and Inter continued to create chances at will. Cudrig finally got his goal after a mazy run into the box, finishing coolly past the Palermo goalkeeper.
The win keeps Inter top of the Youth League table, and they will be confident of continuing their good form when they face Spezia next weekend.
Positive Signs for the Future
Inter's strong start to the season is a positive sign for the future. The youth academy has a history of producing top-quality players, and the current crop of players looks set to continue that tradition.
The players have shown great character and resilience in their matches so far, and they will be determined to maintain their unbeaten record for as long as possible.
With several of the players already knocking on the door of the first team, the future looks bright for Inter.
