Dortmund U19 2-0 AC Milan U19: Young Black and Yellows reach last 16 of Youth League
Dortmund's youngsters continue their impressive run in the UEFA Youth League, as they defeated AC Milan's U19 team 2-0 on Wednesday to secure their place in the last 16 of the competition.
A brace from Youssoufa Moukoko in the first half was enough to give Dortmund the victory, as they controlled the game from start to finish and rarely looked troubled by their Italian opponents.
Dortmund started the game brightly and took the lead after just 10 minutes, when Moukoko fired home from close range after good work from Jamie Bynoe-Gittens down the left flank.
The German side continued to dominate possession and created a number of chances to extend their lead, but they were unable to find the net again before the break.
Moukoko finally got his second goal of the game in the 55th minute, when he latched onto a pass from Tom Rothe and slotted the ball home from just inside the area.
Milan rarely threatened the Dortmund goal, and the German side saw out the game comfortably to secure their place in the next round.
Dortmund will now face either Real Madrid or Liverpool in the last 16, with the draw for the next round taking place on Friday.
