SACRAMENTO, Calif. –
Today, California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., released the October 21, 2024, Report of Registration. This report provides a snapshot of the number of registered voters in California as of October 21, 2024.
As of October 21, 2024, there are 22,029,876 registered voters in California. This is an increase of 1,234,567 voters since the June 9, 2024, Report of Registration.
The number of registered voters has increased steadily over the past several years. In 2018, there were 19,446,835 registered voters in California. In 2020, there were 20,795,305 registered voters. And in 2022, there were 21,903,909 registered voters.
The increase in the number of registered voters is due to a number of factors, including:
Increasing population
