Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan to Face Off in Youth League Semifinals
German and Italian Giants Set to Clash for a Place in the Final
Dortmund and Milan, two of the most prestigious clubs in European football, will meet in the semifinals of the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday, April 26.
The match will take place at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, Germany, and will be the first time that the two teams have faced each other at this level.
Dortmund is the defending champion of the Youth League, having won the competition in 2019. The German club has a strong record in the competition, having reached the semifinals or final in four of the last five seasons.
Milan, meanwhile, is making its first appearance in the Youth League semifinals. The Italian club has been in impressive form this season, winning all six of its group matches and both of its knockout matches so far.
The match is expected to be a close and competitive one, with both teams possessing a number of talented young players.
Dortmund will be led by captain and midfielder Jude Bellingham, who has been one of the standout players in the Youth League this season. The English teenager has scored three goals and provided two assists in six appearances.
Milan, meanwhile, will be looking to their captain and striker Lorenzo Colombo to lead the line. The Italian has scored five goals in six appearances in the Youth League this season.
The winner of the match will face either Real Madrid or Chelsea in the final, which will be played on April 29.
