Bayer Leverkusen Still Unbeaten in the UEFA Youth League after Thrilling 4-3 Win Over Club Brugge

Hosts Leverkusen recover from two goals down to claim UYL victory

Bayer Leverkusen held off a valiant Club Brugge comeback to win 4-3 and remain the only unbeaten team in the UEFA Youth League group stage.

The hosts stormed into an early lead through Joel Abu Hanna and Iker Bravo in the first half, but Cedric Van Den Berghe pulled a goal back for Club Brugge just before the break.

Just minutes into the second half, Lennart Moser scored an own goal to draw the Belgians level, and when Andreas Skovgaard fired Brugge into the lead midway through the half, it seemed as if Leverkusen's unbeaten run was coming to an end.

However, substitute Yari Otto levelled things up with just over 20 minutes remaining and Tim Sechel scored the winner six minutes later to snatch all three points for Leverkusen.

The win means Leverkusen remain top of Group B with 10 points from four games, while Club Brugge move up to third with six points.
