Are You Voting?
We asked UK students about their plans
The results may surprise you
In the run-up to the UK general election, we asked students at universities across the country about their plans to vote.
The results of our survey revealed that a significant number of students are unsure whether they will vote or not. Of the students we surveyed, 35% said they were definitely planning to vote, while 22% said they were unsure.
There are a number of reasons why students may be unsure about voting. Some students may feel that they are not informed enough about the candidates or the issues. Others may feel that their vote will not make a difference.
However, it is important to remember that every vote counts. Even if you are unsure about who to vote for, it is still worth taking the time to learn about the candidates and the issues.
If you are a student, we urge you to consider voting in the upcoming election. Your vote could make a difference.
Here are some of the reasons why you should vote:
- Your vote helps to shape the future of the UK.
- Your vote can make a difference, even if you don't think it will.
- Voting is a right that you should exercise.
If you are unsure about who to vote for, here are some tips:
- Research the candidates and their policies.
- Talk to your friends and family about the election.
- Attend a hustings or debate.
Voting is an important part of democracy. Make sure your voice is heard.
