AC Milan Youth Team Steal Point Away to Borussia Dortmund

Milan Hold Their Ground Against Top German Youth Side

AC Milan's youth team earned a creditable 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday, showing great character to come from behind twice in the match. The result leaves Milan second in their group, behind Dortmund on goal difference.

First Half Dominated by Dortmund

Dortmund started the game brightly and took the lead after just 10 minutes when Youssoufa Moukoko scored a brilliant individual goal. Milan struggled to create chances in the first half, and Dortmund doubled their lead just before the break when Jamie Bynoe-Gittens scored a tap-in.

Milan Fight Back in the Second Half

Milan came out much improved in the second half and pulled a goal back through Marko Lazetic in the 55th minute. The Serbian striker was on hand to score from close range after a good cross from the left. Milan continued to press for an equaliser and got their reward in the 75th minute when Tommaso Pobega scored a stunning free-kick.

Milan Show Great Character

The draw was a good result for Milan, who showed great character to come from behind twice in the match. It was also a good performance from the team's young players, who showed that they are capable of competing at the highest level.

Next Up for Milan

Milan's next match in the UEFA Youth League is away to Atletico Madrid on November 2. They will then finish their group stage campaign with a home match against Club Brugge on November 23.
