AC Milan Youth League: Rossoneri Win Third Consecutive Match
Milan Keep Perfect Record With 2-0 Victory Over Dinamo Zagreb
AC Milan's Primavera continued their impressive start to the UEFA Youth League with a 2-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday. The Rossoneri have now won all three of their matches in the competition and sit top of Group E with nine points.
Milan took the lead in the 17th minute when Marco Nasti finished off a fine move involving Lorenzo Colombo and Daniel Maldini. The Rossoneri doubled their advantage just before half-time when Colombo converted a penalty after he had been fouled in the area.
Colombo and Nasti Star for Milan
Colombo and Nasti were both in excellent form for Milan and were a constant threat to the Dinamo Zagreb defence. Colombo scored his fifth goal in the Youth League this season, while Nasti took his tally to three.
Milan's defence was also in impressive form, with goalkeeper Andreas Jung making several important saves to keep Dinamo Zagreb at bay. The Rossoneri have now kept three clean sheets in their three matches in the competition.
Milan Face Salzburg Next
Milan will now face Red Bull Salzburg in their next match in the UEFA Youth League. The match will be played on October 25 at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg.
